Someone I showed this to asked where we found the mermaids!!!
Alex and I met at the second Community Zoe gathering in Woodstock in 2003. We have become good friends in the years since. We have shared a number of adventures including a mini gathering at Joshua Tree and a “Lost in the Desert†drive through the Mojave. Our time at Mission Beach adds to the collection of shared experiences. You all know Alex as a fine photographer. I am pleased to call him “Friendâ€.
How do you post images here? Obviously some of you have figured it out. I haven’t.
Lots of Photos. Lots of Friends. Lots of memories. This was my seventh Zoe Fest gathering. And the farthest I have ever traveled from home. As one who had never traveled abroad, I approached the trip with just a bit of apprehension. Needless concern it turns out. As the Ausies like to say, “No Worries”.
I think I was most concerned about the prospect of driving on the “wrong” side of the road. To my surprise, not a problem. Although I did get in on the wrong side of the car at least four times.
A wonderful time in a beautiful place. To photograph and contemplate life.
Thank you Zoe. I look forward to whatever you dream up next.
